first class by En. Kamal touched on TCP/ IP
it's indeed a very impportant lesson for me..
just knew tat IP can b expressed in 2 forms, :
decimal and binary
IP is usually expressed as
*.*.*.*
0<= * <= 254
e.g. :
64.128.32.16 in decimal form
or
01000000.100000000.001000000.000100000 in binary form
Each work station in the network has its own IP, which differs from others.. An IP differs in every network, tat is, expecially assigned by the network admin.
IP changes from a network to another.
workstation 1 in Network A is known as 100.125.64.126
but it'll changed to 101.126.64.125 in network B
TCP detects any interruption/ invasion in the transmission of data to the reciever/recievers
